Mental Math means to do a math question in your head. Or meaning to show how you answered the question.
For example: 3659+2659=6318 mental math is showing how you got that answer. step by step.
9+9=18
50+50=100
600+600=1200
3000+2000=5000
5000+1200= 6200
6200+100= 6300
6300+18=6318

ReplyDeleteNice post, Jasmine. I like how you showed us step by step. I noticed you used different colours for each place value. Like how the ones were purple and the tens were blue, to show what you're dealing with. Colours can be kind of distracting, but this is a really well done post.
