Equivalent Fractions

Did you know that equivalent fractions are almost like reduced fractions? They are! If you don't believe me, please look at the diagram below.

See the similarities? Four eighths and one half are equivalent fractions and four eighths also can be reduced to one half for the most proper answer.
If you have trouble reducing fractions, then keep reading this post.

All we have to do is divide. if you don't understand, look at the picture below.
See? If you still don't understand, ask someone who knows to help you. I'd love to help you if you need help or even Mr. Isfeld. But remember, don't just sit there and struggle. If you need help, ask someone who can help.

  2. Good job Mary! This was a great post. I really liked your pictures! I also really liked how you told us to not forget about the french test and what we needed to finish before the christmas break and so that we can go to the dance. Very well done Mary. This will help many people. keep it up!
