Decimals

Know how to Add, Subtract, Multiply and Divide Decimals.

 Here are some examples.
                                                                                                 1
Adding) 21.34  + 32.56 + 1.09 = 54.99  do it that way or           21.34
                                                                                         + 32.56
                                                                                         +   1.09
                                                                                         =  54.99
Subtracting) 675.42 - 324.78 = 350.64

Dividing) 678.987 ÷ 8.17 = 83.10734394 but round it off and you get 83.1

Multiplying) 29.47 x 7.33 =216.0151 but round it off and you get 216.02

  1. Great post, Jessica. I like how you showed the vertical way and the horizontal way of adding.

  2. Great job Jessica! Like what Angela said, I like how you showed the vertical way and also the horizontal way of adding decimals. Maybe next time, you should change the font/size and colour to make your post stand out more! Other than that, great job! Keep it up! :)
