Divisiblility Rules.

1. All whole numbers are divisible by 1.
2. All whole numbers that end in 0,2,4,6,8 is divisible by 2.
3. The sum of the digits is divisible by 3,
4. All whole numbers that are divided by 2 twice and the sum is a whole number it is divisible 4.
5. All whole number that end in 0,5 are divisible 5
6. If the whole number is divisible by 2 and 3 is divisible by 6.
7. There is NO divisibility rule for 7.
8. All whole numbers that you divided thrice times (three times) and equals a whole number it is divisible by 8.

Textbook Page 214

In Math today I was tol to do the blog and in th textbook number 8.

The question was:
8) Write each addition statement shown by the diagrams. Then add. Write you answer in lowest term.

the diagram showed 2/4 + 1/4=3/4
Now make it in the lowest term theres is known because thats as low as you can go!

the diagram showed 5/8 + 1/8= 6/8
the lowest term is: 3/4 you divide by 2

the diagram showed 4/10+3/10=7/10
the lowest term is: there is known because it won't equal a whole number!

thats the answer to number 8 it te textbook.

Today in math we learned about fractions, decimals, and last but not least percents.

a fraction is....
a whole number
____________ over a
whole number

eg.

a Demicals

anything

_________over

1

a Percent is .....

anything

_________over

100

eguivalent fractions:

Order of Operation

Here is a step by step guide on how to solve a BEDMAS question.

The example is be:4x3+12÷2=18

First, you check for brackets. There are none.

Then you check for exponents. There are none.

Now, check for multiplication and division. There are some.

You do multiplication first because it shows up first when you go left to right.

Now you have this:12+12÷2=18

Now you do division because there are no brackets, exponents or multiplication.

It should look like this:12+6=18

There are no brackets, exponents, multiplication or division.

All there's left to do is either add or subtract.

12+6=18

There's no subtraction sign, but there is an addition sign so you add.

Your answer should be 18. 18=18

click http://www.onlinemathlearning.com/bedmas.html to help more with this

this is what it should look like

and this vidoe might help you if you are still have some problems
